C2E Sports Academy Set for Second Consecutive NWFL Nationwide Campaign

C2E Sports Academy will compete in the 2026 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Nationwide Competition, marking the club’s second consecutive appearance in the country’s third-tier women’s football championship.
The tournament, scheduled to hold from August 15 to 23, 2026, in Aba, Abia State, will feature 12 clubs from across Nigeria battling for two promotion spots to the 2027 NWFL Championship.
Having made its maiden appearance in the competition last year, C2E Sports Academy returns with valuable experience and renewed determination to compete at a higher level. The club has continued to strengthen its squad and technical setup while remaining committed to developing young female footballers and promoting women’s football in Nigeria.
Drawn in Group B, C2E Sports Academy will face Bayelsa Princesses FC and Lakeside Queens FC of Ogun State in what promises to be a fiercely contested group.
The 2026 NWFL Nationwide Competition presents another important opportunity for the club to measure its progress and pursue its ambition of earning promotion to the NWFL Championship.
As preparations enter the final phase, the players and coaching staff remain focused on delivering disciplined performances throughout the tournament and representing the club with pride and professionalism.
