C2E Sports Academy Book Their Place in the Nationwide Final

C2E Sports Academy produced a sensational comeback at Enyimba Stadium, Aba, defeating Kwara United Queens 4–2 to secure the first ticket to the NWFL Nationwide 2026 final.
Kwara United Queens made a blistering start, taking the lead as early as the 3rd minute through Oluwabunkunmi Azeez. C2E Sports Academy responded just before halftime when Omobolanle Abdulganiu turned the ball into her own net in the 45+ minute, sending both sides into the break level at 1–1.
The Queens regained the lead just two minutes after the restart, with Amarachi Nnorom finding the back of the net in the 47th minute to make it 2–1.
But C2E Sports Academy refused to surrender.
The comeback gathered momentum in the 52nd minute when Chidinma Gideon restored parity, before Ude Nina completed the turnaround in the 74th minute to put C2E ahead for the first time in the encounter.
With the final ticket firmly within their grasp, Agnes Ohuche sealed the victory in the 87th minute, completing a stunning 4–2 comeback.
From 2–1 down to a commanding 4–2 victory, C2E Sports Academy displayed remarkable character, resilience and determination to overturn the deficit and march into the NWFL Nationwide 2026 final.
