C2E Sports Academy Crowned 2026 NWFL Nationwide Champions

C2E Sports Academy have been crowned champions of the 2026 NWFL Nationwide Championship after a remarkable campaign that saw the team finish unbeaten with a perfect record.
The academy sealed the prestigious trophy with a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Obosa Football Academy in the final, completing an outstanding run through the competition.
C2E Sports Academy started the final strongly and took the lead in the 11th minute through Ohuche Agnes, before Nina Ude doubled the advantage in the 30th minute. Obosa Football Academy pulled one back through Saidat Idowu, who converted from the penalty spot in the 47th minute, setting up a tense second half.
Despite the pressure from their opponents, C2E Sports Academy held firm to protect their advantage and eventually secured a deserved 2–1 victory, lifting the NWFL Nationwide trophy.
The championship triumph caps a phenomenal tournament for C2E Sports Academy. The team played four matches, winning all four, recording 21 goals scored and just four goals conceded throughout the campaign, adding another major achievement to the club’s growing history.
From the opening match to the final whistle, the team demonstrated consistency, determination and a winning mentality. Their unbeaten run, impressive attacking numbers, and ability to deliver on the biggest stage ultimately earned them the crown.
